How are you different?

We seen this on Facebook and liked it so thought we would share.  You had to say why you thought you were different, so we wrote:

Happy Times are different because we deliver serious programmes but make it feel everything but serious by having lots of fun.  If you can think of any other reasons why you think we are different please let us know.

 

Local Cinema showing films for people with autism

We are really pleased to tell you that the THE Light Cinema in New Brighton has introduced autism friendly screenings of films for young people.  The first special screening has just been shown using softer sound and lighting. Films for young people will be shown once a month and they are looking to introduce adult films in the same format. Tel: 0151 214 1370.

Join us and support National Disability Week

We will be doing taster sessions of our Movement & Relaxation servcies at The Carnation Centre in Ellesmere Port on Tuesday 20th at 1.30pm and at 2pm on Wednesday 21st we are at Birkenhead Park Rugby Club, Park Road North, so come along and say hello. 

There will be lots of other local groups showcasing their servcies so you can try something new, meet new people and have a great day!

 

Support Helen and Wirral Mencap

Helen is doing an abseil from Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday 3rd August for Wirral Mencap and there's still time to join her if you want to.
