I'm listening

This artwork shows the effects of people not understanding what someone must do in order for them to be able to concentrate enough to listen.

Carl is an Autistic 30yr old man. He shared this story from his school days, recalling it as though it were yesterday.  He was standing on the poolside waiting to swim with his classmates who were listening to his teacher. He faced the other way to concentrate on what his teacher was saying. His action was misinterpreted, and he was accused of not paying attention. He was sent back to the changing room. Carl wanted to swim but instead had to go back alone and misunderstood to get changed.
