LENS Exhibition We are super pleased to tell you that all of our hard work has paid off. The art exhibition and our first ever partner event with The Open Door Charity was incredible. CEO Lee Pennington who attended the event at Bloom said 'You have totally smashed it'. If you would like to attend our reflection event on Fri 28th April please get in touch. The work created such a good reaction, our plans for when this project ends is to start LENS EDUCATE program. This will see the art being shared with local organisations to provide them with a real life insight into the world of Autism & Disability, so a kind of training but done differently and in a creative way and enabling us to share our important messages even further. You can still view Lens Gallery online: https://www.happytimesactivities.co.uk/lens-project or request a paper copy.
WELCOME Mel BIG welcome to Mel our new Happy Times Leader. Mel will be supporting people both Outreach and Centre and older adults in the Magenta community. Student shout out. We are hosting students at Happy Times from Liverpool & Chester and it has been a great experience for all involved and the feedback has been great from everyone. Gail and Megan really stuck in to create an Easter project & Communication passport. Not got your passport yet? Put your name down with Michelle or Mel.
Exciting HUB News Enterprise HUB is where we create products for sale and see the profits reinvested back to activities. So far we have created a range of cards, with the support of local artist and Happy Times Leader Shona Wallace. They are that incredible, that people have commented they look like ones they've bought at The Tate! Not seen them yet? You can purchase from Happy Times and if you have any suggestions of venues we can sell from please contact the office. |
