Today at Inspiring Dreams we did Team Building.
We split into two teams, and each built a bridge The bridge had to be strong enough for Penny and her friends to cross….and after this we put other things on it too, to see if the bridge was strong enough to hold the weight.
Both teams did well, and our teamwork helped us to build strong and interesting bridges – Both were different. Team 'Monkey Oh Oh Oh' built ‘Wonky Bridge’, held together with a person supporting it at either end. Ours I think was the best though, as it had a big Peter Kay on it.
After lunch we had a dance with Helen to wake everyone up. This was funny, as Heather and Dave joined in and everyone was smiling and laughing and in great moods. After this we did or worksheets, writing down our qualities and what we wanted from the team. We all had the opportunity to read them out to the group, and everyone choose which bit to read out. It was lovely to listen to.
We closed the day by picking a word to describe it. Here are some I can remember - 'Inspirational’, 'Calming’ , ‘Interesting’, ‘Learning’, 'Fun', ‘Better than I thought it would be', ‘Friendly’.
It was a great day and I would give it a full 10 out of 10.
